Message From Dr. Little

STEM DESIGNATION

We are looking forward to a great Veterans Day program on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 9:30 am. This is a time to celebrate all those within our school community who have served our Country. We always appreciate our parents and families for their presence to celebrate with our students.

When coming to campus on Monday, please go straight to the gym entrance. All visitors must sign in at the tables in the foyer. We will not be allowing any visitors into the building after the program. All visitors will exit from the gym following the conclusion of the performance.

Principal and SRO for a Day

Student Voice

We were honored to have our Principal for the Day, Wilson Butler, and the SRO for the Day, JJ Reed to deliver the morning announcements and the Sulphur Springs Vision to the students. The principal and the SRO toured the building and observed the students as they participated in the STEAM Day activities.

They also took time to make sure the building was secure along with Mrs. Barnett and spoke with Mrs. Greene about the STEAM work she was doing with her group.

Thank you both for being excellent at your jobs!

Classroom STEAM Achievements

Nov. 8th is National STEM Day!!!!

At Sulphur Springs, every day can be a day to celebrate STEM!

Numerous STEM and STEAM opportunities are provided to challenge and inspire students in both classrooms and related arts.

Students are engaged and encouraged to use their creativity and problem-solving abilities to create designs that are sometimes successful and other times not. Throughout the day, they learn the value of teamwork and the significance of considering others' ideas.

We are proud of the determination of our SSES students as they navigate their productive struggles, pushing forward in their learning journey. We are empowered to solve problems!
