6th Grade Computer Science: Problem Solving in Action!

Our talented 6th graders recently engaged in a hands-on lesson focused on problem solving. They were challenged to design and create aluminum boats, which were then tested for their capacity to hold plastic beads and wooden blocks. This exciting activity fostered creativity, as students brainstormed unique designs and approaches.

Additionally, they developed critical thinking skills by analyzing the effectiveness of their boats and making adjustments based on their test results. Through collaboration, they enhanced their teamwork abilities, learning to communicate ideas and work together to overcome challenges.

Overall, this project not only reinforced their understanding of computer science concepts but also provided valuable life skills that will benefit them in future endeavors!
