West View Family Newsletter

October 2024

"Dear Students and Families,

The last few weeks have presented many hardships to many in our area. Seeing the overwhelming response by members of our community has been an amazing thing to witness.

In light of the recent natural disaster, I want to express my deepest sympathy to all who have been affected. Please know that we are here for you. We are working to ensure that everyone’s needs are addressed, from emotional support to resources for recovery. We encourage you to reach out to our counselors, teachers, and staff if you need assistance or someone to talk to.

As we navigate this situation, let’s remember the strength of our school community. We can find comfort and resilience in each other.

Together, we will heal and rebuild. Take care of yourselves and look out for one another.

With compassion and support,
Dr. Robin Street

Regular school attendance is crucial for student success. According to research, children who miss 2 or more days a month starting in elementary school are less likely to graduate from high school. Let’s do our best to make sure every student attends every day this month! Please let us know how we can help.
